Here’s what happens to your Nest
Be U services will no longer be available after 31 July 2026. If you have savings in Nest, your Nest balance will automatically move into your linked Be U Qard Savings Account-i or Be U Awfar account. Once your Nest savings are reflected in your linked account balance, you can proceed with self-account closure through the Be U app and transfer your remaining balance to your Bank Islam account.
Your Nest savings will move into your linked Be U account
Nest was designed to help you set aside money for your goals. As Be U services come to an end, your Nest savings will automatically move into the Be U account that your Nest is linked to.
This means your Nest savings will be reflected in either your Be U Qard Savings Account-i or Be U Awfar.
Be U Awfar profit will be paid up to 16 July 2026
Profit for Be U Awfar accounts will be paid up to 16 July 2026 only.
From 17 July 2026 onwards, the Mudarabah arrangement will end. Any balance maintained after this date will be treated as Qard, where no profit will be paid.Any hibah, if granted, is at the Bank’s discretion.
To avoid confusion, we encourage you to review your balance and move your Awfar balance early
Your Nest savings will move into your Be U Awfar account
If your Nest is linked to Be U Awfar, your Nest savings will automatically move into your Awfar account balance.
Once reflected, please review the Awfar profit and final draw timeline before closing your Awfar account and transferring your remaining balance to your Bank Islam account.
Move your Nest savings through your linked Be U account
You do not need to close each Nest separately. Your Nest savings will move into your linked Be U account first. Once your Nest savings are reflected in your linked account balance, you can submit a self-account closure request through the Be U app and transfer the balance to your Bank Islam account. Your next step depends on whether your Nest is linked to Be U QSA or Be U Awfar.
Continue your banking journey with BIMB Mobile
Once your Be U transition is completed, you can continue managing your banking needs through BIMB Mobile, Bank Islam’s main mobile banking app.
BIMB Mobile gives you access to more Bank Islam services in one place, so you can keep banking with ease after Be U services end.
What happens after 31 July 2026?
If you do not move your linked Be U account balance before 31 July 2026, Nest will no longer be available through Be U and your linked Be U account access will be limited after the deadline. Your Nest savings will remain safeguarded as part of your linked Be U account balance, but you may need to contact Customer Support to withdraw funds or take further action after the deadline.
